We Are Cambridge (part of We Are Oxbridge) is hiring energetic, friendly walking tour guides in Oxford and Cambridge. Student or non-student, if you love meeting people and can speak confidently, we want to meet you. No guiding experience needed. We train you properly from day one.
What the work actually looks like
1 tour: around 1.5 hours
2 tours back-to-back: around 3 hours
Most shifts are about 3 hours total including meeting guests and wrap-up
Work occasionally or regularly, no minimum hours

We Are Cambridge is hiring confident, friendly punting guides to work on the River Cam in Cambridge. Whether you’re a student or non-student, if you enjoy being outdoors, meeting people from around the world, and speaking with confidence, we’d love to hear from you. No punting or guiding experience is required. We provide full training and ongoing support to get you comfortable, safe, and confident on the river.
What the work actually looks like
1 punting tour: 50 minutes
Minimum commitment: 1 tour per shift
Maximum working time: up to 10 hours per day
Tours run throughout the day during peak season
Work occasionally or regularly: no minimum weekly hours
Ideal for weekends, holidays, and flexible weekdays
You’ll be steering the punt, guiding guests, and sharing stories while floating through some of the most iconic views in Cambridge.
